Ka’ala Systems Technology “KST” Corp. Awarded U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu District’s Regional Engineering Center, Fort Shafter, Hawaii Computer Aided Design support services contract term 1 March 2019 - 31 October 2022
KST in support of the Regional Engineering Center, Fort Shafter, HI provides the field work necessary to gather accurate as-built information to incorporate into facility design drawings and details. Creates complex construction drawing packages from conceptual layouts provided by architects/engineers, utilizing Revit BIM and/or CA Understands design intent and exercises independent judgment in development of detailed architectural drawings.
Collaborates with designers and CAD Technicians to coordinate design details across the different disciplines. Serves as technical job captain for large and complex drafting projects. Provides a quality control check of representative sample of CAD/BIM work products. Meets AEC CAD Technical and Professional Standards in the creation of all work products. Provides status reports on information of work completed, work in progress, work outstanding, as well as highlighting problems encountered and anticipated, hours expended and remaining. Also perform administrative tasks in support of each major deliverable.
